In the midst of the biggest offshore oil exploration and refining projects, BP needed a mechanism to share information seamlessly across disparate networks and business cultures. Projects of this nature involve many thousands of people working in many different countries. Photorealistic 3D visualisation sequences were created and made available to users as part of this project.
